Steve Stevens

Billy Idol

Steve Stevens & Robert Kantor @ Iridum Jazz Club

Steve Stevens (born Steven Schneider, May 5, 1959, Brooklyn, New York) is an American guitarist and songwriter. He is best known for playing for other artists (most notably Billy Idol, Michael Jackson, and Vince Neil) and less so for his solo efforts (Atomic Playboys and Flamenco A Go-Go), collaborations (Bozzio Levin Stevens, a.k.a. Black Light Syndrome), and as an in-demand session guitarist. He is also a television personality on the E! show Married to Rock, alongside his wife, Josie Stevens.

Steve is about to embark on a new tour with Gene Simmons (KISS), Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses/Velvet Revolver/Loaded), Glenn Hughes (Black Country Communion/Deep Purple/Trapeze/Black Sabbath), Sebastian Bach and many more. These rockers will tour South and Central America this spring as the Matt Sorum’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Allstars, an 11-piece supergroup.

Matt Sorum and promoter Gabe Reed are behind the concept for the tour and put it all together. “We thought it would be a really great idea to put together a band of some of our favorite musicians from the history of rock,” Reed said. “I think it’s going to be exciting to go see the hits of Kiss, Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Billy Idol, the Cult and Alice In Chains. That’s where the vibe came from.”
